BTS's Jungkook allegedly expressed support for NewJeans through his latest post. The agency has also revealed Jungkook's intentions regarding the post. On September 14, 2024, Jungkook uploaded a photo of his dog along with the caption “Artists are innocent” on social media for his pet.
Jungkook later posted an additional message saying “Don’t use them.” In particular, Jungkook caught people's attention by adding five colored heart emoticons: blue, pink, yellow, green, and purple. These are the colors that symbolize the NewJeans members since their collaboration with Power Puff Girls.
Regarding this, BIGHIT MUSIC, his agency, stated on the same day, "We have confirmed that Jungkook uploaded this because he thinks that under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into conflicts and used as shields."
Meanwhile, NewJeans held an emergency live broadcast on YouTube on September 11, 2024, stating their position that they cannot accept the dismissal of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, and demanding that HYBE return ADOR to its original state by September 25, 2024.
