Korean-American rapper and soloist Jessi has just signed with a new agency, as well as establishing an independent label. Quoting from Soompi on Friday September 20, 2024, Jessi signed a label and management contract with DOD entertainment company. At the same time, she also founded an independent label called ' UNNI .
' The label 'UNNI' aims to help Jessi pursue a music career that suits her unique style, as well as assist her in managing her solo schedule. The representative from DOD agency said that they will give full support to Jessi. Not only in the music field, but also other entertainment fields.

Along with that, Jessi also shared the announcement of the opening of her new label 'UNNI' through an upload on her personal Instagram account.
In her upload, the rapper shared several recent profile photos. She appeared in a black outfit, as well as a silver dress that looked see-through and showed off her curves. The singer of the song 'Zoom' also shared the logo of the label 'UNNI' with the slogan 'The Big Sister Company.'
The name 'UNNI' itself is taken from Korean which means 'big sis' or older sister. " Your UNNI is here @callmyunni. Can't wait to share my new chapter with you guys! " wrote Jessi in the caption of her upload. Also tagging the official Instagram account for her new label UNNI.
Meanwhile, Jessi joined a new agency, DOD, and founded her own label 8 months after she officially parted ways with her old agency, MORE VISION (owned by Jay Park). News of Jessi's departure from MORE VISION came a month after she and Jay Park denied reports that the two were having a falling out.
