However, during the broadcast, only NMIXX's opening act and ZEROBASEONE's closing performance for the first part of the awards ceremony were shown. Yoo Hwe Seung was reportedly waiting backstage but then left without giving any performance.
The organizers claimed that it was due to an unexpected delay. N.Flying announced on their official account, "We regret to inform you that the congratulatory performance for the SBS '2024 Seoul International Drama Awards' scheduled for today has been canceled due to delays at the venue."
"We apologize to the fans who have been waiting and ask for your understanding once again," he added. Then on September 26, 2024, the SDA committee said, "We apologize that N.Flying's Yoo Hwe Seung will not be able to appear at the 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards ceremony on September 25, 2024."
"Due to an unexpected delay at the venue during the live broadcast, the performance could not take place after the first part of the ceremony." The committee also said, "We sincerely apologize to the artists who put in the effort to prepare a great performance, as well as to the fans and viewers who were excited for the show."
"Right after the live broadcast, we sincerely apologized to the artists and assured them that this will not happen again. The organizing committee promises to prepare more thoroughly and do everything possible to prevent this from happening in the future," they explained.
