Fantasy drama Twelve (literal title) announced Ma Dong Seok and Park Hyung Sik as the main players who will play Korean superhero characters. Twelve is a drama inspired by the 12 zodiac animals of the East. It tells the story of 12 angels who live in the human world in human form to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
Long ago, the angels brought peace by successfully sealing the evil forces at the gates of hell through their sacrifices. However, with the awakening of the evil spirits, chaos returned. Ma Dong Seok will play Tae San, the leader of the 12 zodiac angels who represents the tiger.
Meanwhile, Park Hyung Sik will play Ogui who represents the crow, an evil force that has awakened from its seal. The story focuses on Ogui reappearing after thousands of years to plunge the world into chaos and the subsequent epic battle that unfolds.
Fans may have to wait as Twelve is scheduled to be released next year. Previously, it was reported that Seo In Guk was in talks to play the angel who symbolizes the monkey, while Ji Chang Wook was also considering a role as one of the 12 angels.
