Sad news came from the South Korean entertainment world. Actor Song Jae Rim reportedly passed away today. Precisely on Tuesday November 12, 2024. Quoting from Allkpop, the news of the actor's passing was confirmed by the Seoul Police Department.

According to the authorities, Song Jae Rim was found dead in his apartment located in Seongdong, Seoul. At the same time, evidence of 2 letters was found at the scene. Although the exact cause of the actor's death has not been confirmed, police officers said there were no signs of foul play.

Meanwhile, the funeral service for Song Jae Rim will be held at the funeral hall of Seoul Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital, and has been arranged directly by the family. Meanwhile, the burial ceremony will be scheduled for November 14, 2024, at noon. 

The actor's final resting place will be at the Seoul City Crematorium. Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim is known as an actor through his appearance in the MBC drama 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' which aired in 2012. 

After that, his name and role became increasingly known as a handsome main actor in a number of drama and film titles. Including 'Inspiring Generation,' 'Two Weeks,' 'Goodbye Mr. Black,' 'Surfing House,' 'Queen Woo,' 'The Suspect,' and 'Decoy.' 

Song Jae Rim, who passed away at the age of 39, was also known for his appearance on the variety show 'We Got Married' with actress Kim So Eun in 2014. His last project was the drama 'My Military Valentine' which was released on the OTT platform in June 2024. 

Recently, the actor also appeared on MBC FM4U's radio broadcast program 'Good Morning FM' in August to promote his drama. The actor said that he had taken exams to become a perfumer and a meat processing technician, calling it training to become a future husband. 

Song Jae Rim had recently been actively involved in various activities until the news of his death shocked many fans. The fact that his social media account was recently changed to 'A Long Journey Begins' has also raised questions about his untimely death.
