The second season of the Fallout series will feature a former famous child star from the 90s. Adapting a report from Deadline on Saturday November 9, 2024, Prime Video has teamed up with Macaulay Culkin in the cast list of Fallout season 2. 

While Prime Video has yet to provide any official statement or details about the character, the report suggests that Macaulay Culkin will be playing the eccentric genius. This will be her second appearance on Prime Video, having previously voiced the first episode of the animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy. 

Adapted from the video game produced by Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout tells the adventures of Lucy Maclean who is part of a group that has lived in an underground shelter for more than two centuries. Lucy is forced to come to the surface to find a strange world waiting for her out there. 

The first season stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul. Other stars appearing include Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Fallout received a critical and audience-friendly reception upon its release in April 2024. In its first 16 days on Prime Video, the series attracted over 65 million viewers and became the second most popular show of all time on the platform. Meanwhile, Macaulay Culkin's popularity skyrocketed after playing Kevin McCallister in the first two Home Alone films . 

After playing Ritchie Rich in 1994, he decided to take a break from acting. The early 2000s marked his return to the spotlight through a number of supporting roles, independent films, and voice-overs. Macaulay Culkin is currently looking back on his early acting career with a special screening of Home Alone . Starting November 30, he will tour the 1990 classic in cities across the United States.
