South Korean actor, Ahn Jae Hong has been offered to star in the new drama, Signal 2. On Monday December 23, 2024, it was reported that Ahn Jae Hong was considering starring in Signal 2. This offer was given after it was previously given to Koo Kyo Hwan.
This news has also been confirmed by MMM Management, as the agency of the Reply 1988 drama player. They confirmed that their artist received an offer to star in the drama and is considering it. "He has received an offer to appear in 'Signal 2' and is considering it positively," a statement from Ahn Jae Hong's agency reported Soompi.
Meanwhile, it is still unknown what role Ahn Jae Hong will play. However, if the 38-year-old man joins, this will be Jae Hong's reunion with Lee Je Hoon after four years together in the Netflix film, Time to Hunt. The sequel to tvN drama Signal was officially announced to be in production earlier this year.
The second season was made after the drama achieved success in its first season which aired in 2016. Signal tells the story of a group of detectives who use a mysterious radio that can broadcast from the past to solve unsolved cases. In its first season, this drama starred Lee Je Hoon, Cho Jin Woong, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Sang Yeob, and Lee Yoo Joon.
