"Newtopia" is still quite a while away from being aired. Even so, the production team of the drama that pairs BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Park Jung Min has released various photos of scenes that would definitely be a shame to miss.

"Newtopia" is an apocalypse drama that tells the story of Jae Yoon (Jung Min), who is serving in the military, and his girlfriend, Young Joo (Jisoo), as they run towards each other across the zombie-infested city of Seoul.

The latest stills from "Newtopia" show Jae Yoon and Young Joo's happy moments when the world was not yet filled with zombies. The main couple looks so sweet as they hug tightly in the cold weather outside. The photo of the scene where Jae Yoon and Young Joo hugged was immediately flooded with comments from South Korean netizens.

Many felt that the two characters looked so cute and wanted to join them as they hugged tightly. " Why are they so cute? They match so well? [sic!] ," wrote one netizen. " Wow they look like puppies. Cute. I want to hug them too [sic!] ," added another.

" Ah cute, you said this is a zombie drama...? *Heart rate jumps* [sic!] ," replied another netizen. " Wkwkw why so cute, please inform me when this will air. Really looking forward to watching Jisoo eonni [sic!] ," added another. " So cute, hurry up and watch it ," continued another netizen.

" The cuteness before the zombie storm attacked this [sic!] ," concluded another netizen. On the other hand, "Newtopia" also released stills of scenes where Jae Yoon faces a life-threatening situation in a high-rise tower in downtown Seoul, where his unit is located.

Meanwhile, Young Joo, on the streets of Gangnam, also faces a threatening threat. The combination of towering skyscrapers, bustling city centers, and different characters hints at a youthful and powerful synergy that draws attention.

The chemistry between Jung Min and Jisoo also raises anticipation for their acting. From their past as a loving couple to their current status as a military soldier and boyfriend, Jae Yoon and Young Joo continue to think of each other first, even in life-or-death situations.

As the story progresses, viewers will wonder if the couple, whose bond has grown stronger despite the distance, will ever reunite. Meanwhile, "Newtopia" is scheduled to air on February 7, 2025 via Coupang Play. For those who are curious, don't miss watching it.
