Bad news came from NCT's Mark. The idol reportedly postponed the release schedule of his solo debut album which was originally scheduled for February 2025, forced to be postponed until April 2025. This news was conveyed directly by the SM Entertainment agency through their official statement on the Weverse page.
According to the agency, the postponement of the release of NCT Mark's solo debut album was done to produce better quality. "Thank you to the fans who have been looking forward to the release of Mark's first solo album, and we would like to inform you regarding the rescheduling of the album's release," said SM Entertainment , as quoted from the nct_vibe Instagram account on Monday December 9, 2024.
"Mark's first full-length album, which was scheduled to be released in February 2025, has been rescheduled to April 2025 in order to improve the overall completeness. As this is an album that has been in preparation for a long time, we ask for your understanding. This decision was made after in-depth discussion," he added.
On the other hand, in order to welcome the release of his solo debut album next year, Mark will release a pre-release single on December 16, 2024. The agency concluded their announcement with an apology to fans who have been waiting for the release of NCT's Mark's solo album, and promised to prepare better and return with an album of better quality.
