Kim Ji Won underwent a photo shoot and interview for Vogue Japan which was released on January 2, 2025. The actress was introduced as, "A star who became a top celebrity after 14 years of career, receiving love throughout Asia through 'Queen of Tears'."

As its introduction, "Queen of Tears" which ended in April 2024 successfully made a significant impact on the world of content. Its final episode achieved an average viewership rating of 24.9 percent, making it the highest-rated drama in tvN history.

Overseas, "Queen of Tears" which is also broadcast by Netflix successfully recorded 682.6 million hours of viewing in the first half of 2024. The drama, which also stars Kim Soo Hyun, is ranked as one of the most popular Korean dramas today.

Back to her photo shoot, Ji Won exudes a dark and mysterious atmosphere, with long, straight hair that reaches her shoulders and wearing a sleeveless black dress. Her sharp gaze is reminiscent of her character, Hong Hae In, from "Queen of Tears."

In another photo, Ji Won's expression is even more captivating as she wears a long cream coat and gazes intently, almost sadly, among hydrangeas. There is also one that shows the actress sitting across a glass, with the trees in the shadows. In addition to the photo shoot, Ji Won's interview was also released. 

The actress, who spends most of her time at home when not filming, revealed the anxiety she feels to the point of having trouble sleeping when she feels like she can't act well. "There are nights when I can't sleep because I'm worried about not being able to act well. I don't think I'll ever be 100 percent satisfied with my acting. 

However, if I go into it with a healthy mindset and do my best, I'm sure I can be better than I was yesterday," said Ji Won. Ji Won also shared behind-the-scenes stories from "Queen of Tears". "The most memorable part was how to create Hong Hae In's look. 

I started working out 3-4 months before filming and focused on maintaining my body shape for over a year of filming," she said. When asked about the turning point in her acting career, Ji Won highlighted her role as Yoo Rachel in the 2013 SBS drama "The Heirs." "It was an honor to work with writer Kim Eun Sook. 

I am grateful for the love I received from 'Descendants of the Sun' and beyond," concluded the beautiful actress. Meanwhile, Ji Won has immediately received many acting offers after finishing starring in "Queen of Tears". However, until now there are no projects that she has confirmed.
