On February 16, 2025, Jaehan suffered a dislocated shoulder after falling on stage while performing in his musical Human Exploration. Initially, he was still able to do normal activities that were not strenuous and did light movements. However, on Wednesday March 5, 2025, Jaehan's condition worsened so he underwent further examination.
The medical team found that there was damage due to a dislocated shoulder and surgery was needed to prevent the pain from recurring. "As of last week, his tests and diagnosis showed that he was able to do non-strenuous activities and light movements," the agency said in a statement.
"After further examination, the medical team has determined that there is damage from the shoulder dislocation and that surgery is necessary to prevent a recurrence," he continued, as reported by Soompi on March 6, 2025.
Due to this condition, Jaehan had to undergo surgery immediately. After appearing on Human Exploration on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at 8 pm local time, he immediately underwent a medical examination to undergo surgery immediately.
"Therefore, after careful discussion with the artist, we have decided to immediately perform surgery to repair the injured area and focus on recovery for the time being to ensure smooth living and entertainment activities in the future. Therefore, we are forced to cancel his appearance in the musical 'Human Exploration'," the agency said.
"Jaehan will not be participating in the remaining performances of the musical 'Human Exploration' after the 8 p.m. performance on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and performances scheduled after that date will feature a different cast," they continued. The agency also asked fans to provide support and Jaehan's son-in-law during his recovery.
The agency will also prioritize Jaehan's recovery so that he can return to his normal activities. "We apologize to the fans who have given their full support for Jaehan's recovery and return to action, and we will continue to prioritize a quick and complete recovery," the agency concluded.
