Park Sung Hoon recently had an interview session with local media regarding his acting in the drama "Squid Game 2". On that occasion, the actor born in 1985 also discussed his personal controversy for carelessly uploading a vulgar portrait parodying the cover of the Netflix drama.

Sung Hoon initially admitted that he came to the interview location with a heavier heart and more nervous than before. "I am truly sorry that I may have caused damage to the production that was made by the hard work of many people, including the team, staff, and actors," he said.

After that, Sung Hoon revealed the chronology of how he became careless. "I found a problematic photo in my DM when I was rushing out around lunchtime to attend my schedule. It was at the beginning of the event's release, and I thought it was a shocking photo that could cause problems.

While exchanging reactions to the event with the organizers, I think I accidentally uploaded it to my Story when sending it," said the actor. Sung Hoon also emphasized that he did not watch the vulgar parody of "Squid Game 2" that he posted. "I, of course, did not watch the video.

I also don't have another account, so it's not wrong to try to upload it to another account," the actor continued. According to the media that interviewed him, Sung Hoon paused for a moment and cried a little or shed tears about the whole incident.

The "Queen of Tears" drama actor once again expressed his regret regarding his careless actions. "I feel very sorry and blame myself for the inconvenience caused by my mistake. I will continue my acting career with a heavy heart, paying attention to my words and actions so that something like this will not happen again," he added.

Sung Hoon also revealed that he has not had a chance to speak to the director. "I called, but I couldn't reach him. He was busy with a lot of schedules, so I couldn't contact him anymore. I felt like I should contact him after the matter was resolved.

My position on the controversy has been sent to the director through the agency," the actor concluded. On the other hand, director Hwang Dong Hyuk was also asked about Sung Hoon's controversy. The director revealed that he only knew that there was adult content that deliberately parodied "Squid Game 2".

"As far as I understand, adult films like that were also produced overseas during 'Squid Game'," said the director. However, director Dong Hyuk felt uncomfortable with the vulgar content. "It seems like this kind of thing happens every time a work becomes really popular.

It makes me uncomfortable because it really ruins the meaning of the original work," he added. The director continued, "I haven't had a chance to talk to Sung Hoon about this issue. It seems like someone sent it to him, but I haven't heard how he ended up posting it. Honestly, I'm curious as to why he made such a mistake."
