Adapting a report from Deadline on Friday February 7, 2025, Daniel Radcliffe stars in the Vietnam War-set thriller Trust the Man directed by Will Graham ( Mozart in the Jungle , Daisy Jones & the Six ). Lucas Hedges is also confirmed to join the project alongside Daniel Radcliffe. Will Graham will not only direct but also write the script based on an original story.
Trust the Man will follow the story of an ambitious military intelligence officer who is tasked with investigating a high-ranking soldier with a mysterious background during the Vietnam War. But the deeper he digs, the lines between loyalty and obsession begin to blur, making their relationship increasingly complicated and uncontrollable.
The film is produced by Will Graham with Tonia Davis and Max Linsky of Invitation Media, Jeffrey Soros and Luke Rodgers of LA Media Fund, and Hailey Wierengo. Apart from Trust the Man, Daniel Radcliffe is also preparing for another film project titled Batso.
The film was announced on February 14, 2024 and tells the true story of three mountain climbers who attempted to conquer the Dawn Wall, part of the El Capitan rock formation in Yosemite National Park. Daniel Radcliffe rose to global fame for his role as Harry Potter in the Warner Bros. film series, which remains the most iconic part of his career.
Even though he has tried various roles in different genres, he realizes that the character will always stick with him. However, Daniel Radcliffe has no intention of continuing to capitalize on Harry Potter's popularity and has confirmed that he will not be involved in the upcoming reboot of the television series.
