Lee Joon Hyuk underwent a photoshoot and interview with the March 2025 edition of digital magazine Arena Homme Plus Korea. The actor, born in 1984, appeared stunning by displaying French luxury watch and jewelry brands.
In the accompanying interview, Joon Hyuk discussed his latest hit drama titled "Love Scout" which has garnered impressive ratings and buzz. The actor's popularity has also skyrocketed thanks to the SBS drama. However, Joon Hyuk actually feels ironic despite gaining popularity thanks to "Love Scout".
"I've played many unique roles and faced new challenges throughout my career, so my filmography is full of unique characters," said the handsome actor. "When you play a unique role so often, the character is no longer unique. Ironically, by taking on a normal character, it became the most unique role in my filmography.
That's how 'Love Scout' felt like a new challenge for me," he added. When asked about his philosophy as an actor in the future, Joon Hyuk shared, "Some actors have a special charm that they can continue to utilize throughout their career.
I'm not sure if that's my kind of charm." "I don't approach my career that way, and I keep taking on different roles even if they might fail. Because I built my career on that foundation, I think I will continue to vary my appearances," added Joon Hyuk. On the other hand, "Love Scout" has ended its broadcast on February 15, 2025.
Ahead of the end, the cast including Joon Hyuk have shared their final messages for the viewers. Joon Hyuk expressed his gratitude to the viewers with "Love Scout" saying, "Thank you for joining us with joy from the beginning until now.
Thanks to you, I feel like Eun Ho, Ji Yoon, Byeol, and 'People' are all alive." Joon Hyuk added, “This experience will remain a precious memory for me.” The actor urged viewers to watch for the heart-pounding moments and stories of Eun Ho and Ji Yoon that viewers will no longer be able to see once the drama ends.
Meanwhile, "Love Scout" ended on episode 12 with a happy ending between Kang Ji Yun (Han Ji Min) and Yu Eun Ho (Joon Hyuk). The drama also ended its broadcast with the highest rating of all time, which was 12 percent. "Love Scout" will later be replaced by "Buried Hearts" starring Park Hyung Sik and Heo Jun Ho.
