The agency filed a report with the police on April 14, 2025 on charges of defamation based on applicable laws in Korea. "Malicious defamation, the spread of false information, personal attacks and sexual harassment, which are rampant in online communities and social media, are criminal acts that should not be taken lightly," they said.
"Based on active reports from fans regarding malicious acts and our own internal monitoring, we filed a legal complaint with the investigative authorities on April 14, 2025 on charges of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and insults under the Criminal Act," he continued.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is known to have canceled all his activities in the entertainment world. He has also not appeared in public anymore, the last time when he held a press conference regarding his scandal.
