South Korean actor and member of boy group ASTRO, Cha Eun Woo, will soon be carrying out his mandatory military service in the near future. The idol is reported to be starting his military service in July 2025.
As reported by Allkpop on Thursday May 29, 2025, news about Cha Eun Woo's departure to carry out his mandatory military service has been confirmed directly by the agency Fantagio. Through an official statement that has been shared, the idol will depart on July 28, 2025.
"Cha Eun Woo recently submitted an application letter to the ROK Army Military Band and received an acceptance letter from the Military Manpower Administration today," the agency said in a statement.
The agency further said that Cha Eun Woo will enlist in the military on July 28, 2025 through the new recruit training center to complete basic military training. The idol will then carry out his duties as a member of the military band.
Meanwhile, in order to ensure the safety of the idol and other military enlistees, the agency announced that Cha Eun Woo will enter the military training center privately. Without any special ceremony, especially a farewell ceremony from fans.
