4 BTS members will finish their military service soon. The four members of the K-pop boyband include RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, who will finish their military service this week. BigHit Music as the agency that houses BTS has revealed that RM and V will complete their military service on Tuesday June 10, 2025.
Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook will officially complete their military service on Wednesday June 11, 2025. However, BigHit also announced that they would not hold a welcoming party due to security reasons. They also asked fans, familiarly called ARMY , not to pick up the members at the military discharge location.
"RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are almost done with their active military service and will be discharged soon," BigHit Music said. "We respectfully ask fans to send warm welcome messages and support from their hearts to RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook," BigHit Music was quoted as saying by Yonhap News Agency on Saturday June 7, 2025.
Meanwhile, of the seven BTS members, Jin and J-Hope have already completed their military service last year. On the other hand, Suga himself is scheduled to finish his military service on June 21, 2025 after serving in a social service program as an alternative to military service.
"Please note that the discharge day is only for military personnel. There are no special events planned for RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook's discharge day," the agency continued. "Each location has very limited space, and overcrowding can pose a safety risk.
We place the safety of our artists and fans as our top priority and sincerely ask fans to refrain from visiting the locations in person. Please send your congratulations and support in your hearts," BigHit Music said. All able-bodied men in South Korea are required to serve in the military for 18 to 21 months.
