South Korean actor So Ji Sub has amazed the public with his generosity. It was recently revealed that he gave a valuable gift to the crew members involved in his new action series, 'Mercy for None'.

In the talk show episode, So Ji Sub appeared with his co-stars: Ahn Gil Kang, Gong Myung, and Cho Han Cheul. They chatted casually over lunch with producer Na Yeong Seok, discussing the ups and downs during the production process. During the chat, So Ji Sub briefly discussed his extreme physical transformation for the role.
He lost almost 20 kilograms after reading the script. However, what caught the most attention was the moment when Ahn Gil Kang suddenly revealed that So Ji Sub gave a gold ring weighing one don (about 3.75 grams) to everyone on the production team.
"Everyone can. From the cast to the crew," said Ahn Gil Kang. Hearing that, Na Yeong Seok was immediately shocked and joked, "Why didn't I get it when we worked together before?" So Ji Sub then explained that giving gold gifts had become his personal habit.
"I use my own money. This time I chose gold, not only as a souvenir, but also so that when times are tough, I can sell it. This is a form of my gratitude," he said. So Ji Sub has long been known as a humble and sincere person in appreciating the people around him.
