BTS's V is back in the public spotlight after news of his purchase of a luxury apartment in an elite area of ​​Seoul was revealed. The residence is said to be worth around ₩14.2 billion. What's even more amazing is that BTS's V paid all the costs in cash without taking out a loan.

This information was confirmed through property registration data released on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The unit purchased by the BTS member, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, is located in the PH129 complex, which was previously known as The Penthouse Cheongdam.

The location is in Cheongdam-dong 129, Gangnam, an area famous for being the residence of Korea's top artists. The BTS' V residence has an area of ​​almost 274 square meters with a two-story design. 

This apartment features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a luxurious interior that combines high ceilings and natural lighting from large windows. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, while the modern bathroom is built with the latest technology. 

Interestingly, there are two kitchens on each floor, and some rooms have private balconies. The purchase process started in May 2025 but all payments were completed V on September 17, 2025.

Cheongdam itself is known as an elite area inhabited by famous artists and athletes in South Korea. Some names who also have units at PH129 include actors Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young, golfer Park In Bin, and lecturer and television star Hyun Woo Jin.

V's achievements at the age of 29 have made many people amazed and envious. Korean netizens even flooded forums with comments expressing astonishment at his ability to purchase such an expensive property without credit.
