After a fierce competition between songs, BTS's V, finally chose his favorite song! Surprisingly, he chose the song Save Me from 2016, beating out all other songs, even his own solo tracks, to be crowned the winner of the BTS Song World Cup.

In a live audio broadcast around midnight on September 12, 2025, Kim Taehyung started a game of "Best BTS Song," selecting dozens of songs the group has released in their 13-year debut. Ultimately, he announced his pick for the song, released nearly a decade ago.

A day ago, BTS's V was busy reading fans' posts on the communication platform Weverse, reading many BTS ARMY posts, and found one post asking him to be the host of the BTS Song World Cup. Impressed with the idea, he continued it during a live broadcast, searching online for the right platform.

After finding the right song, he began listening to BTS songs, stirring up nostalgia and praising the other members' voices. From her debut song to her latest single, the singer sifted through the songs, choosing her favorites and asking for fans' suggestions, but ultimately, she did what her heart desired.

Some of his most problematic choices involve the older songs that made BTS famous, compared to the newer songs that have millions of listeners. Unabashedly honest, he even chose BTS songs over his own solo track, "Winter Bear." The same cannot be said for one song, namely Maknae Jungkook 's Euphoria .

This song in 2018 is quite superior, competing and triumphing against songs like Young Forever, a heartfelt song from 2016, which is loved by the entire fandom. However, towards the end of the song, it was overtaken by V's crush on Dimple. The youngest member's Euphoria was ultimately defeated in the quarterfinals, but we're not complaining!

The final song was a tie between Save Me and Mikrokosmos, the latter released in 2019 and one of the happiest moments of any BTS concert, for both the group and their fans. Despite being the number one choice among BTS ARMY, V chose Save Me, surprising everyone!
