Park Min Young admitted she was fed up with netizens' comments that often focused on her body shape. The South Korean actress even firmly asked people to stop discussing her health.
Park Min Young recently stole the spotlight with her appearance at the press conference for the Korean drama 'Confidence Queen' on Monday (September 1, 2025). She wore a nude halter-neck dress, which accentuated her slender figure.
While many have praised Park Min Young's style, many have also voiced concerns. Park Min Young has been called "too skinny" because her bones are clearly visible in some parts of her body. She is suspected of undergoing an extreme diet that could lead to health problems.
Following rumors circulating on social media, Park Min Young decided to speak out. During her live broadcast on Saturday (September 6, 2025), Park Min Young stated that she is focusing on losing weight in preparation for her upcoming drama, Siren, alongside Wi Ha Joon.
The 39-year-old actress confirmed that she is in good health. Park Min Young continues to eat three meals a day and drinks plenty of smoothies. However, her schedule has become increasingly busy due to filming a variety show in the United States and promoting the Korean drama Confidence Queen in Japan.
"I'm really healthy. I'm fine. I've lost a little weight recently, but you'll know why next year. There's a Korean drama called Siren coming out next year, and you'll know why I'm on a diet. So don't worry, really, don't worry," Park Min Young said firmly.
"I eat three meals a day. And I even drink a lot of smoothies. So you don't have to worry, I'm filming happier and healthier than ever, and in a fun environment," he explained. During her live broadcast, Park Min Young also asked netizens to stop discussing her health.
Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend admitted that negative comments about her body shape can make her feel depressed. "From now on, don't talk about my health anymore, okay? Please. Because sometimes it can be stressful. Because everyone is worried about me, worried about my weight, my health, and everything.
But I'm fine, completely healthy." "Since I've shown that I'm healthy today, don't worry about my health anymore. Beans (Park Min Young's fandom name), make sure you eat well," Park Min Young concluded.
Siren is a Korean drama adapted from the popular Japanese series, Kori No Sekai (1999). The story follows a half-bird, half-woman creature who lures sailors to their deaths with her singing. Park Min Young confirmed that her latest drama, starring Wi Ha Joon, will air in 2026.
