SEVENTEEN's special unit, S.COUPS X MINGYU (CxM), has successfully achieved success on various music charts with their first mini album 'HYPE VIBES' which was released on Monday September 29, 2025.
According to Hanteo Chart, 'HYPE VIBES' sold 605,575 copies on its first day of release, immediately topping the daily album chart. This is a remarkable achievement for a unit group, and solidified their status as "half-million sellers" from the very first day of release. The album's success wasn't limited to South Korea.
'HYPE VIBES' dominated the iTunes Top Albums chart in 11 countries and regions, and reached number six on the Worldwide Albums Chart. In China, the album achieved Double Gold certification on the largest music platform, QQ Music, after recording sales of 500,000 yuan. The title track "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)" also received rave reviews.
It immediately reached number one on the Bugs real-time chart, and all the songs on the album made it onto the Melon Top 100. Globally, '5, 4, 3' entered the iTunes Top Song rankings in 16 countries, including Spain, Indonesia, and Egypt, and also made its name on the LINE Music Song Top 100 in Japan.
The music video for 5, 4, 3 also became a highlight, topping YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide and becoming popular in countries such as South Korea, Germany, Canada, and Indonesia. Meanwhile, S.COUPS X MINGYU will present their first performance of this song on Mnet's 'M Countdown' stage on October 2, 2025.
