Actor Tom Holland experienced an unpleasant incident while filming the latest film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. According to Deadline, he suffered a head injury while filming at Pinewood on Friday, September 19, 2025.
As a result, the actor was rushed to the hospital for intensive examination. Filming was temporarily halted as the main actor recovers. The Sun reported that the incident occurred when Holland's stunt double made a mistake.
Despite this, he still attended the charity event with his co-star and girlfriend, Zendaya. No one was injured other than Holland and filming is scheduled to resume this week. Previously, Tom Holland expressed his enthusiasm for the shoot, which will remind audiences of the 2017 Spider-Man film.
"We're shooting old school style and shooting on real locations, that's why we're shooting in Glasgow and will be using the streets of Glasgow to create sets," said Tom Holland. Sony has added Spider-Man: Brand New Day to its 2026 slate.
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Several new cast members were also announced, including Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas in characters that are still being kept secret. Spider -Man: Brand New Day will be released in theaters on July 24, 2026.
