Ji Ye Eun will finally return to appear on the SBS variety show 'Running Man' after undergoing a period of health recovery. On October 20, 2025, a representative from SBS confirmed to Ilgan Sports that Ji Ye Eun participated in the filming of 'Running Man' and will continue her activities on the show going forward.

Previously, in August, Ji Ye Eun's agency, CP Entertainment, announced that the actress would focus on her recovery starting in September 2025. "We will do our best to support Ji Ye Eun so she can fully recover through adequate rest," the agency said at the time, announcing the temporary suspension of her activities.

News of Ji Ye Eun's hiatus sparked speculation among netizens, who suspected she was experiencing burnout. However, 'Running Man' host Yoo Jae Suk dismissed the rumors in an episode. He explained, "Ji Ye Eun has spoken about burnout in the past, but her break this time has nothing to do with that.

She is undergoing treatment based on the results of a health checkup." According to sources from the broadcasting industry, Ji Ye Eun was diagnosed with a thyroid dysfunction (hypothyroidism) and has been undergoing treatment with medication and rest to recover from her condition.
