Park Bom caused a stir on social media with a post calling out YG Entertainment. She accused her former agency of misconduct, from unpaid wages to plastic surgery. D-Nation Entertainment management has spoken out about the post, confirming that Park Bom's emotional and mental state is currently unstable.
In a statement, management apologized for the offensive post and also thanked the artist for their support. "Park Bom is currently in a very unstable emotional state and is having difficulty communicating, so she urgently needs treatment and rest to recover," the management said.
"Because her social media posts have been spread through various channels, they have been misinterpreted in ways that differ from the facts, giving rise to unnecessary misunderstandings. This situation is not only detrimental to Park Bom herself, but also to her family and acquaintances," D-Nation continued.
They also asked the public to stop spreading Park Bom's since-deleted post. The statement, posted on Instagram, concluded with a commitment to help Park Bom recover. The 2NE1 member posted a police report on Instagram, stamped with her legal seal, addressed to YG Entertainment boss Yang Hyun Suk.
The letter was posted on Wednesday (October 22, 2025) and has since been deleted. "Yang Hyun Suk failed to pay the amount of 1002003004006007001000034 '64272e trillion Won that Park Bom earned through music, stage performances, television appearances, advertisements, events, and songwriting," the letter read.
Not only that, the "I Love You" singer claims that YG is responsible for the damage she has suffered, both mentally and financially. Furthermore, Park Bom accused management of fraud and embezzlement. In addition to unpaid wages, YG was also accused of failing to provide Park Bom with detailed financial reports. This was not to mention unfair payments.
Park Bom admitted she wasn't making baseless accusations. She claimed she had proof. In a separate post, Park Bom expressed her feelings about the uproar caused by the first post. She also issued a statement criticizing YG Entertainment, including claiming that BLACKPINK's management forced her to undergo plastic surgery.
Bom used profanity to describe her face, claiming YG never paid for any of the surgeries she underwent. "They made my face look like (a vulgar word). To make fun of me. Now that I think about it, YG never paid for plastic surgery. I paid for it once or twice with my own money," Park Bom wrote. Those two posts have now been deleted.
