Min Hee Jin seems to be ready to put the drama with ADOR and HYBE behind her. The ongoing issues, which also involved NewJeans, haven't deterred her from continuing her career in the South Korean entertainment industry. Min Hee Jin has created a new agency.

This agency is called ooak. As reported by SPOTV News on Friday (October 24, 2025), ooak officially began operating and was officially registered as a K-Pop management agency on October 16, 2025.

ooak's business focuses on artist management, music production and distribution, event and performance organizing, and brand management. It's certain that ooak will soon make a splash in the music world, much like Min Hee Jin did with NewJeans during her time in ADOR.

Min Hee Jin is currently a shareholder in ooak. The company reportedly has assets worth 30 million won and is headquartered in Gangnam, southern Seoul. This is Min Hee Jin's first time coming out with a new venture in the K-Pop world since leaving ADOR last year.

The launch of ooak has the public wondering: will the NJZ members move here? As far as we know, since November of last year, Hanni, Minji, Haerin, Danielle, and Hyein have refused to return to ADOR and HYBE.

A legal battle over the validity and nullification of their contracts with the two companies is currently ongoing in court. The next hearing is scheduled for October 30, 2025. The outcome of this hearing may determine the fate of the five members. NJZ has always hinted that they want to stay with Min Hee Jin.

After all, the former ADOR CEO was the one who brought them together, formed NewJeans, and was instrumental in the group's success. However, many are skeptical about the possibility of the five members ultimately joining OOAK.

There's still a strong chance that HYBE and ADOR will prevail in court over the NewJeans contract case. The dispute over the validity of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein's contracts as NewJeans with ADOR began in November 2024.

The five members decided to terminate their exclusive contracts with the HYBE subsidiary. The five members' decision was the climax of a series of problems that had been ongoing since April 2024.

NJZ was vocal in voicing various issues, asking ADOR to improve its management, and demanding the return of Min Hee Jin as CEO.Following the contract termination press conference, the five K-Pop artists re-emerged under the name NJZ and intended to pursue independent activities.

ADOR responded with a lawsuit, demanding that NJZ cease all independent activities, as their contracts as NewJeans were still valid.NJZ, who was performing at ComplexCon Hong Kong, unilaterally announced a hiatus until the matter was resolved.

Regarding the validity of NewJeans' contract, ADOR did not accept NewJeans' cancellation. They stated that the cancellation was baseless. Moreover, ADOR has invested 21 billion won in NewJeans' debut and promotions. The funds were obtained from HYBE, as revealed by ADOR in court.

ADOR also claims to have implemented transparent revenue settlements. "The exclusive contract was formed on the basis of trust between the business partners, there were no circumstances that indicated a breakdown in that trust," said ADOR.

NJZ members, on the other hand, rejected the statement, stating that the change of leadership at ADOR to HYBE meant that the management was no longer the same as the agency they signed their contracts with.
