Kian84 recently shared his admiration for BTS’s Jin in a new video. A new video was posted on Kian84’s YouTube channel Life84 on January 20, 2026, where he spent a day with singer Chuu. During their time together, Kian84 brought up the topic of dating and marriage.

Chuu replied, “Fans wouldn’t like it. I’ll wait as long as possible. I’ll probably get married around 50.” Kian84 then mentioned that there’s a celebrity who feels the same way. He said, “BTS’s Jin actually said something like that.

Even when the cameras are off, he tells people, ‘I shouldn’t date. It’s about loyalty to my fans.’” Kian84 added, “I once asked him, ‘Isn’t it fine to just pretend in front of everyone and do whatever behind the scenes?’ but Jin responded, ‘No, no, absolutely not.’”

The story has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans expressing both admiration and skepticism. Some are impressed by Jin’s unwavering commitment to his fans, noting how rare it is for an idol to hold such a strong sense of responsibility.

However, others question the idea of “never” dating, with many wondering how realistic it is for anyone, especially an idol, to completely avoid relationships. Comments like, “What’s the big deal with dating?” and “Isn’t an idol still a person?” reflect the ongoing debate about whether this level of dedication is sustainable or even necessary.
