BLACKPINK's new album has been released. YG Entertainment released the EP (mini-album) titled Deadline at 12:00 PM WIB, along with the music video for its title track, "GO."

"GO" presents something quite unique and different from BLACKPINK's usual style. Her voice contrasts sharply with the beat of "JUMP," which sounds more like the signature style of Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa, and Jennie from previous releases.

Grammy winner Teddy Park continues to produce the song, collaborating with Cirkut. Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa, and Jennie are credited as composers for "GO." In addition to the four BLACKPINK members, Coldplay's Chris Martin also composed the song.

They collaborated with Henry Walter (real name Cirkut) and Danny Chung, a member of Saja Boys K-Pop Demon Hunters. The music video features futuristic visuals and a poetic feel.

Unlike JUMP, which featured a grandiose image of Seoul and its citizens jumping together, GO feels more exclusive. The shot-by-shot changes are aesthetically pleasing, focusing on BLACKPINK's visuals without the usual stomping dance choreography.

The MV for GO was directed by Rima Yoon, a familiar face in K-Pop, with her videos having been viewed hundreds of millions of times: Taemin's "Move," aespa's "Armageddon" and "Rich Man," SEVENTEEN's "HOT," and several songs by BOYNEXTDOOR and IZ*ONE.

Rima Yoon's name is immediately visible in the opening of the music video, emblazoned on one of the silver paddles. The video for "GO" is dominated by visuals featuring dense and dramatic computer graphics effects.
