BTS has broken numerous records with their album, Arirang. The latest announcement by Circle Chart: Arirang is the best-selling physical album of 2026. Circle Chart (formerly Gaon) recently released a list of the 50 best-selling albums in the first half of 2026.
BTS's Arirang is at #1 with total sales of 4,224,016 copies. It's not just the regular version that makes this list. The Weverse version of Arirang is also a bestseller, selling 346,677 copies. Even the latest version released, the LP version, also made the top-selling list!
Arirang LP closes Circle Chart's list of the 50 best-selling K-Pop albums of 2026 at number 50. The vinyl version of Arirang sold 247,334 copies. For the record, Circle Chart records album distribution data, including shipments and returns from distributors to retailers/retailers.
The figures they provide don't reflect the number of albums sold directly to fans. Returning to the Arirang vinyl release, there's something special about this version. BTS included an exclusive track, "Come Over," that's exclusive to this version of the album.
"Come Over" is a track dedicated to ARMY by BTS. The song was produced by Suga, with RM and j-hope contributing as songwriters. Arirang is the fifth vinyl record BTS has released since 2020.
But it is also their largest-scale vinyl production and release in the past 6 years. In 2020, BTS released 7-inch vinyl versions of their singles "ON," "Dynamite," and "Life Goes On." Then, a year later, they released a vinyl version of their single "Butter."
The list of the 50 best-selling K-Pop albums of the first half of 2026 also features many of BTS's fellow HYBE Labels artists. In fact, the top 5 on the list are HYBE artists: ENHYPEN (2), Cortis (3), and TXT (5).
BLACKPINK is the only girl group to enter the top 10 best-selling album list for the first half of 2026. This year, Jisoo and her friends released an EP entitled Deadline, in the middle of their Deadline world tour.
