Doh Kyung Soo (EXO's D.O.) is ready to return to the small screen. He's reportedly been offered a role in a Korean zombie drama titled We Are the Zombie. As reported by Sports DongA on Friday (July 17, 2026), Doh Kyung Soo has received the script for the comedy drama.
Blitzway Entertainment management has provided clarification. "It's one of the projects he's considering," the agency said in an official statement. We Are the Zombie (literal translation) is adapted from a webtoon.
The story centers on a mall that is closed due to an unidentified virus. Unlike other zombie stories with a similar premise, the people trapped inside the building aren't confronted with zombies.
We Are the Zombies instead depicts the everyday lives of the people trapped there, focusing on recovery and hope. Doh Kyung Soo was offered the role of Kim In Jong, a man who bounces from one odd job to another.
In the script, he was visiting the mall with his friends before the zombie incident occurred. Blitzway Entertainment has yet to confirm or confirm the Popcorn singer's appearance in the Korean drama "We Are the Zombie."
Doh Kyung Soo is currently on EXO's EXhOrizon concert tour with four other EXO members: Suho, Chanyeol, Kai, and Sehun. He is also planning a comeback with a new album next month.
