iKON's Junhoe is the next member of the group to enlist in the military. His agency, 143 Entertainment, announced his enlistment on August 11, 2026. "We would like to thank all iKONICs who love iKON, and we are writing to share information regarding his military enlistment schedule.
On August 11, 2026, Junhoe will be entering the training center to fulfill his military duties as an active-duty soldier," 143 Entertainment said on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The agency also explained that no events would be held on the day of departure and Junhoe would depart behind closed doors.
"Given that departure day is a time when other soldiers and family members will be present, we will not be holding a farewell event to avoid any security-related incidents," agency said. "We ask fans to refrain from visiting the venue and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation," agency continued.
Junhoe carried out his duties while iKON was on a world tour that began in Seoul, South Korea, in May. They then visited Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. iKON will return to Jakarta on August 21st at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
The tour currently consists of four members: JAY, SONG, BOBBY, and CHAN. Another iKON member, DK is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service while Junhoe had already enlisted for his mandatory military service before the tour was held.
