As reported by the Korea JoongAng Daily, he will enter the Korean Military Training Center without holding a special farewell event. After completing basic training, Kwak Dong Yeon will serve as an active duty military personnel.
Details of his deployment location have not been disclosed. With the announcement of this departure date, Kwak Dong Yeon is confirmed to not be participating in the new season of The Village Barber, which is scheduled to begin filming in late August.
The latest season of the program also features Go Kyung Pyo as a new member. Meanwhile, before enlisting, Kwak Dong Yeon is expected to film the 10th anniversary special variety show "Love in the Moonlight." This event is scheduled to take place in early August.
