TWICE's Tzuyu is reportedly leaving JYP Entertainment after contract renewal discussions. Taiwanese media outlet Liberty Times revealed that speculation is growing about the possibility of Tzuyu joining Weihai Entertainment, a company founded by her parents.

Weihai Entertainment is led by her mother, Huang Yen Ling, and is involved in entertainment management, music distribution, video production, advertising, fashion, and cosmetics. Her father, Zhou Yi Cheng, is also listed as an auditor at the company.

This speculation intensified after Tzuyu's appearance at the Kaohsiung Beer Festival, where she was introduced by her birth name, Zhou Tzuyu, instead of 'TWICE's Tzuyu.' This was seen as an indication that she may have begun preparing for independent activities.

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment has yet to confirm Tzuyu's contract status. A representative from the agency stated, "TWICE is currently in the process of discussing a contract extension, and we will provide an update once this matter is resolved."

With this situation, TWICE fans are certainly eagerly awaiting further news regarding the future of one of their visual members. Tzuyu's decision to possibly leave JYP Entertainment will undoubtedly be a major concern among K-Pop fans.

Many hope she stays with TWICE, but others support her decision to explore a solo career and join her family's agency. This development also highlights the increasingly complex dynamics within the K-pop industry, with many artists considering independent careers after years under the auspices of major agencies.

Tzuyu's decision will be one of the most closely watched in the near future, given her immense popularity among fans. With speculation and anticipation abounding, TWICE fans worldwide will be keeping a close eye on Tzuyu and her future.
