In 2026, an idol group eagerly awaited by many fans ended their journey before their official debut. Lee Chaeyun, one of the group's members, shared an emotional letter on her TikTok account explaining the situation. The group was originally formed through the JTBC reality program Flying Ari.

The show featured nine female trainees undergoing a series of training and evaluations over 100 days to prepare for their debut. Several members, including Lee Chaeyun, formerly known as a child actress, had already won fans' hearts through their appearances on previous programs, including Girls Planet 999.

However, in a recent announcement, Lee Chaeyun revealed that due to “internal circumstances,” the members have now gone their separate ways. In her message, she said, “Hello, I’m Chaeyun. I’m writing this message because I have something to say to the fans who have loved and waited for us since we first met through Flying Ari.

I’ve previously said that we were preparing for our debut, and I know many of you have been waiting for us, believing that we would debut together as a group. However, due to internal circumstances, the debut lineup we had prepared did not come to fruition, and all of the members have now gone their separate ways.”

Chaeyun emphasized that the decision to disband the group wasn't due to conflict between the members, but rather to their mutual support. "We all have positive feelings for each other and support each other's futures. I sincerely hope there are no false speculations or rumors surrounding this situation," she added.

In her emotional message, Chaeyun also apologized to fans who had been eagerly awaiting their debut. She emphasized that the videos previously uploaded on social media were not part of their debut preparations, but rather moments spent together as close friends.

"I feel so sorry for the fans who have been looking forward to our debut and waiting for us, only to be disappointed. It seems like our journey that began with Flying Ari has now come to an end. From now on, I don't believe we will be able to meet as a group again through Flying Ari," she said.
