TECNO added new device to its Camon 17 series portfolio, dubbed as TECNO CAMON 17 Pro. The smartphone has been launched in Nigeria and Kenya with a quad rear camera setup and 5000mah battery.
Tecno CAMON 17 Pro sports a 6.8-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 395 PPI screen density, 500 nits peak brightness, 82% screen-to-body ratio and a centred punch-hole cutout.
Under the hood, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and coupled with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The smartphone runs on HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
Coming to the camera, The Camon 17 Pro packs a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-Megapixel (primary) sensor + 8-Megapixel (Ultrawide) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor + 2-Megapixel (monochrome) sensor. The smartphone equips with a 48-Megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone is fueled by a 5000mah battery with 25W fast charging support. For connectivity, the device have a dual-SIM slot, MicroSD card slot, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
The sensor onboard includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and proximity sensor. It supports stereo speakers. The phone measures 168.89 x 76.98 x 8.95mm in thickness.
In terms of pricing and availability, the TECNO Camon 17 Pro carries a price tag of ₦75,000 (around Rs.13,434). Rhe handset features Dream Silver & Malibu Blue colour variants. There is no information about the availability of the smartphone yet.
