TECNO added a new smartphone to its Camon 17 series portfolio, dubbed as TECNO CAMON 17P. The device has been launched in Nigeria and Kenya with a quad rear camera setup and 5000mah battery.
TECNO CAMON 17P sports a 6.8-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 395 PPI screen density, 500 nits peak brightness, 82% screen-to-body ratio and a centred punch-hole cutout.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and paired with 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The handset run on HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
In terms of cameras, the Tecno Camon 17P has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-Megapixel (primary) sensor + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor + 2-Megapixel (depth) sensor + AI lens. On the front, The smartphone has a 16-Megapixel snapper.
The smartphone is fueled by a 5000mah battery with 18W fast charging support. For connectivity, the device have a dual-SIM slot, MicroSD card slot, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
The sensor onboard includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and proximity sensor. It supports stereo speakers. The handset measures 168.67 x 76.44 x 8.82mm.
In terms of pricing and availability, the TECNO CAMON 17P is priced at ₦97,000 (around Rs.17,326) for 6GB + 128GB storage. It comes in Frost Silver, Magnet Black, Spruce Green colour finishes. There is no information about the availability of the Tecno Camon 17P yet.
