Vivo V21 5G has been launched in Malaysia with Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC and 64MP triple rear camera setup. It is the successor of the Vivo V20 which was launched back in October last year.
Vivo V21 5G comes with a 6.4 inches AMOLED FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 800 nits of peak brightness, HDR 10+ support, and a waterdrop notch design.
Vivo V21 5G runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 with Android 11 OS on top. The smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. There is also an option of additional virtual RAM.
In terms of optics, The smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-Megapixel (primary) sensor + 8MP (Ultrawide) sensor +2MP (macro) sensor. On the front, there is a 44-Megapixel selfie shooter which can shoot up to 4K resolution video.
The smartphone supports OIS (optical image stabilization) on the front and rear cameras. Other camera feature includes 4K Video, Eye Autofocus, Night, Ultra-Wide Night, Ultra Stable Video, Art Portrait Video, Super Macro, Bokeh Portrait, Multi-Style Portrait.
The Vivo V21 5G is backed by a 4000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging technology. In terms of connectivity, The handset has a 5G, 4G, dual sim slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type C port.
The sensor on the smartphone includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light sensor, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Lastly, The handset measures 159.68 × 73.90 × 7.29mm thickness and weighs 177g.
Vivo V21 5G is priced at RM 1599 (around INR 29,150) for an 8GB +128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Dusk Blue & Sunset Dazzle color option. It is currently up for pre-order and the first sale is going to be live on 5th May.
