OnePlus has released the Nord N200 5G device in select markets including the Canada and US. It is an entry-level smartphone that follows the OnePlus Nord N100, which was released back in 2020. The all-new handset is the cheapest 5G-enabled phone from the company.
Oneplus Nord N200 5G comes with a 6.49-inch fullHD+ LCD screen with a 1080*2400 pixel resolution, 405 PPI pixel density, a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio display panel that has a punch-hole notch on the top left corner. Its rear panel is made of polycarbonate.
The smartphone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. Built on an 8nm fabrication process, the Snapdragon 480 supports 5G. It is paired with Adreno 619 GPU. Nord N200 comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
As for the cameras, the Oneplus Nord N200 5G features triple rear cameras with an LED flash. In addition to a 13 MP main sensor, there is a 2 MP macro and 2 MP monochrome sensor. A 16MP front camera is on the Nord N200 for taking selfies and video calls.
On the software front, it runs OxygenOS 11 skin based on Android 11. Powered by a 5,000mAh battery, it supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port, but it lacks OnePlus’ signature alert slider.
Connectivity options on the OnePlus Nord N200 5G include 5G, Dual Sim, Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and GPS (L1 + L5 Dual-band), GLONASS, and A-GPS. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.1×74.9×8.3mm and weighs 189grams.
As for the pricing and availability, OnePlus Nord N200 5G will retail at $239.99 (approximately Rs. 17,600) for a model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The smartphone is available only in the Quantum Blue color option. Starting June 25th, the device will be available in Canada and the US.
