South Korean Tech Giant Samsung has unveiled a new budget smartphone for Indian consumers. Samsung’s new Galaxy F22 is the fourth F-series device to be launched in India. Previously, the company has launched the Galaxy F62, F12 and F02s in India.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with an HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch on top for the front camera. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. It has 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 11 OS and is topped with OneUI 3.0 skin.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 has a quad-camera setup is found on the back that comprises a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The smartphone has a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
As for the battery, the smartphone is powered by a 6000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. In addition to a 3.5mm headphone jack, this phone features a USB Type-C port. The smartphone comes in denim blue and denim black colour options.
It comes in two variants. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499 while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs 14,499. As an introductory offer, the 4GB + 64GB variant of the Galaxy F22 will be available for Rs 11,499. From July 13, it will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart and the Samsung India Online Store.
