Motorola has launched a new smartphone in Indian market, called Moto G31 that comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and 4G networks connectivity. It is the sucessor to the Moto G30 that was launched earlier this year. The new smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP triple-rear camera, and a 20W turbo fast charger. 

On the specifications and features, the Moto G31 comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 409ppi pixel density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front penal gets a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. If we talk about back penal design, it brings a large triple-camera module. 

Under the hood, The Moto G31 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC alongside ARM Mali G52 GPU. The smartphone is paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Besides, the dual-SIM supporting Moto G31 runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. The handset comes with up to 128GB of internal storage and users can expand Moto G31 storage capacity via a microSD card.

As for the camera, the Moto G31 offers three cameras on the rear side, including a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the smartphone has a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. 

The Moto G31 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging technology. For security, there’s is a fingerprint sensor and face unlock support. On board sensors are proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, SAR sensor, gyroscope, and e-compass. In terms of dimensions, it measures 161.89 x 74.60 x 8.45mm and weighs around 180 grams.

As for the pricing and availability, the Moto G31 retails in India at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option. There’s is another model (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) that carries a price tag of Rs. 14,999. It is available in Baby Blue and Meteorite Grey color options. The device will go on sale on Flipkart from December 6, 12 pm (noon).
