Tecno’s latest entry-level smartphone that has been announced recently, called the Tecno Pop 5C. The handset has an Unisoc’s 7731E chipset paired with 1GB of RAM. The front penal has an older designed display, and there is no fingerprint scanner which is a very common feature on nowadays’ smartphones.
Coming to the specs and features, the Tecno Pop 5C features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a Unisoc 7731E processor which is clocked at a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU along with Mali 400MP2 GPU. The design is very simple whether we talk about the front penal or back.
On the camera front, Tecno Pop 5C comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash. On the front side, you get a 2MP camera for selfies and video calling. The camera features AI Face Beauty, HDR, Smile Shit, AI Sticker, and Bokeh camera. On the software front, it runs on an outdated Android 10 (Go edition) out of the box.
Speaking about battery, there is a tiny 2,400mAh battery that you can charge via a micro USB port. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio. The phone includes G-sensor and proximity sensor. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 145.20 x 74.05 x 9.85mm and weighs around 150 grams.
The Tecno Pop 5C is paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Users can expand its storage via a microSD card. The smartphone is listed on its official website. So far, the company has not revealed its pricing and availability details. The smartphone comes in two color options, i.e. Lake Blue, and Dark Blue.
