JBL announce three new true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) at CES 2022. All three earbuds— namely, the JBL Live Free 2, the JBL Live Pro 2, and the JBL Reflect Aero promise better battery life and smart ambient noise. They will also come with six microphones that JBL claims will improve the quality of voice calls. Moreover, all three earbuds are gym-friendly since they have a rating of at least IPX5 for water and sweat resistance.

The JBL Live Free 2 has gone the traditional route with its design and is also the most compact of the three earbuds. It will have a battery life of only seven hours, as opposed to that of the JBL Live Pro 2 which can last for ten hours. On the other hand, the JBL Live Free 2 is said to have an additional 28 hours of battery life in the case.

The JBL Live Pro 2 borrows Apple Airpods’ stickbud design and supports adaptive ANC. It allows you to control how much background noise you want to let in with its smart ambient mode. The earbuds come with support for Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant, along with on-board touch controls for certain commands. JBL claims that the Live Pro 2 will have a battery life of 10 hours, and an additional 30 hours of battery life in the case. A 15-minute charge promises up to four hours of playback.

The JBL Reflect Aero is designed for more strenuous workouts. It comes with adjustable ear fins to hold the earbuds in place when you’re moving about. It is rated IP68 for even better protection from water and dust. JBL claims that it will have up to eight hours of battery life along with 16 hours of full charge in the case.

As for official pricing and availability, the JBL Live Pro 2, JBL Live Free 2, and JBL Reflect Aero will go on sale from spring 2022 and will be available for purchase through the official website and select retail stores. All three earbuds come with a price tag of $150 (roughly ₹11,200). JBL is yet to announce the price and availability of these products in India.
