Motorola Moto G 5G launched in India as a budget 5G smartphone from the Lenovo owned company. The handset is already revealed in Europe in the first week of November. Moto G 5G debuted as a more affordable version of Motorola Moto G 5G Plus that was revealed back in June. The device comes with a Full-HD+ punch-hole display, a Snapdragon 5G chipset, a 48MP triple rear camera, and a 5000mah battery.

Motorola Moto G 5G comes with a 6.7 inches punch-hole display with Full-HD+ ( 1080×2400 pixels ) resolution along with HDR 10 support. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 750G octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card up to 1TB storage. The device runs on Android 10 OS out of the box.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto G 5G sports a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens with 118-degree FoV ( Field oF View ) along with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel front facing camera under a punch-hole at the top center for selfies and video calls.

The Motorola Moto G 5G is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 20W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-fi 6, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 76.08×166.13×9.89g and weigh 210g.

As for pricing and availability, Motorola Moto G 5G launched in India with a single variant of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs. 24,999 but it is currently sold for Rs. 20,999 on e-commerce platform website Flipkart. It is available in two color options namely Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver. The smartphone’s first sale is on 7th December 2020 at 12 pm and it is exclusive to purchase via Flipkart only.
