Oppo A16K launched in Indian market as the new entry-level smartphone from the Chinese tech company. Although, the handset was revealed in Philippines back in November last year 2021. The company states that the device will attract budget users which are looking for light, compact, and trendy design smartphone with entry level specs.
Oppo A16K features a 6.52 inches LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate, HD+( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, and it comes with features such as Sunlight Display, Moonlight Display, and eye care for good viewing experience. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo A16K boasts a solo 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture under the squarish camera module along with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 12 with Color OS 11.1 on the top.
The Oppo A16K is packed with a 4230mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.0 x 75.4 x 7.85 mm and weighs 175 grams. Additionally, the device IPX4 splashproof rating
As for official pricing and availability, the Oppo A16K comes in a solo configuration of 3GB + 32GB priced at Rs. 10,490 and the company offered the smartphone in three color options namely Black, Blue, and White. The handset is available to purchase via Oppo e-store and offline stores.
