Samsung has started taking pre-orders of the Galaxy S21 FE in India. The smartphone is set to go on sale in the country starting from January 11. It was announced by the South-Korean smartphone maker globally a few days back. The device is equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor and has features such as a 12MP triple-camera setup, 120Hz OLED display, 8GB of RAM, and 25W fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE boasts a 6.4-inch Dynamic OLED display. The display has punch-hole cutout, a Full HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Indian variant is likely to ship with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2100 SoC. The device packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The other two variants ship with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE features a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 8MP telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 32MP camera. In terms of operating system, the smartphone boots Android 12 out of the box with One UI 4.0 on top.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE packs a 4,500mAh battery that has 25W fast wired charging support and 15W fast wireless charging. The other key features of the smartphone include an in-display optical fingerprint reader, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, 4G VoLTE, 5G, and NFC. In terms of dimensions, it measures 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm and weighs 177 grams,
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE can be pre-booked for a token amount of ₹999 from the Samsung India e-Store and Samsung Shop app between January 5 and January 10. The device is set to go on sale in India from January 11. Customers who pre-order the smartphone will get the Galaxy SmartTag worth ₹2,699 for free. Additionally, if the customer chooses to cancel the pre-reserve pass, the company will provide a 100 percent refund.
