Chinese tech company, HONOR has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, called the 60 SE, in China. It joins the 60 and 60 Pro models that were announced by the company in December 2021. As for the key highlights, the HONOR 60 SE has a 120Hz curved display, , a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, a 64MP primary camera, and a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.
The HONOR 60 SE is a mid-tier smartphone loaded with features you'd find on premium smartphones. It is also the first 'SE' branded model launched by the company. The handset flaunts a high refresh rate OLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, modern design, fast charging and 5G connectivity, among other highlights. It will rival mid-range smartphones from brands like Vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Realme.
The HONOR 60 SE bears a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a punch-hole design with curved edges, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. The rear section is fitted with an iPhone 13 Pro-like triple camera module.
Under the hood, the HONOR 60 SE is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the front software, the smartphone runs on Android 11-based Magic UI 5.0 skin. For connectivity, it offers support for Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Wi-Fi, 5G, and a Type-C port.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the HONOR 60 SE sports a triple rear camera module comprising a 64MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP front-facing lens. The smartphone packs a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.
For pricing and availability, the HONOR 60 SE carries a price-tag of CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 25,900) for the 8GB/128GB model and CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,350) for the 8GB/256GB variant. The smartphone is offered in Black, Green and Blue color options. It is currently available for order in China and will go on sale from February 18.
