Oppo’s new Enco X2 earphones come as a premium offering and succeed the older Enco X earbuds. The Chinese tech company announced the new earbuds alongside Oppo’s flagship Find X5 smartphones. The Oppo Enco X2 packs in dual-drivers, triple-core processor, quad magnet planar tweeter, anti-bacterial design, ear wax prevention, low latency Bluetooth, and ANC, among other features.
The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds feature 11mm dynamic coaxial drivers with a 6mm planar tweeter. The sound driver diaphragm is ultra-light and promises a powerful bass and a rich sound. The earphones support LHDC 4.0 codec via Bluetooth for high-res audio streaming. It also supports the usual AAC and SBC codecs. The earbuds are powered by a three-core chipset, which promises up to 50 percent improvement in performance.
The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds get two noise-cancelling microphones each, which offer different levels of noise cancellation such as Max Noise Cancellation, Moderate Noise Cancellation, Smart Noise Cancellation, and others. According to the company, the noise cancellation frequency can reach up to 4,000 Hz. Other noteworthy features include Bluetooth v5.2, LHDC 4.0, LHDC 4.0, Bone Voiceprint AI Call Noise Reduction, Binaural low-latency Bluetooth, IP54 water and dust resistance, and more.
The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earphones come with wax guard layers, which ensure the speaker outlets aren’t blocked. That’s not all, it comes with an inorganic ion antibacterial coating that helps against bacteria. The Oppo Enco X2 earbuds promise up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge with the ANC off. They provide a total playback of 40 hours with the charging case combined. The earbuds can be charged fully in one hour, while the charging case takes about 90 minutes for a full charge.
The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds can be charged via the USB Type-C port or wirelessly via a Qi wireless charger. The earbuds also support reverse charging offered by the Oppo Find X5 series and other flagship smartphones. For official pricing and availability, the earphones are priced at 199 Euros (approx. ₹16,800). It will go on sale from April onwards and will come in black and white colours.
