South Korean tech giant, Samsung has announced its new budget smartphone in the Indian market, called as Samsung Galaxy A03. It carries a price tag of Rs. 10,499 and it will be available to purchase via Samsung online store. The new entry-level A-series smartphone comes with an LCD display, a UNISOC chip, a 48MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
In terms of specifications and features, The Samsung Galaxy A03 has offered a 6.5-inch HD+ infinity-V TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen features a 20:9 aspect ratio and 81.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The front penal has a waterdrop notch and the back penal comes with a dual-camera module. Unfortunately, there’s no fingerprint scanner.
As for camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A03 sports a dual-camera setup on the rear side that houses a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it gets a 5MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Samsung has offered an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC which is clocked at 1.6GHz. It is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The storage capacity is further expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).
The Samsung Galaxy A03 has provided a micro-USB port to charge its 5,000mAh battery. It supports Dolby Atmos sound. Connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor. Talking about dimensions, it measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm and weighs around 196 grams.
For pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy A03 comes in two variants – 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM +64GB storage that have been priced at Rs. 10,499 and Rs. 11,999 respectively. The smartphone is available in three color options, Black, Blue, and Red. It will be available to purchase via official Samsung online store, retail stores, and other online e-commerce platforms.
