Realme has launched its new budget-range smartphone, called the Narzo 50 in India. The handset is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the base 4GB/64GB model. It will be up for grabs from March 3 via Amazon, Realme.com, and other retail outlets. As for the highlights, the Narzo 50 features a 120Hz display, a MediaTek Helio G96 chip, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
After introducing the 9 Pro series, Realme has arrived in India with a budget-friendly and gaming-focused smartphone, the Narzo 50. Two different launches in the same month from the country's second-largest mobile maker are not to be taken lightly. Considering the heated competition we have seen so far in 2022, it could only mean that Realme has its eyes set on thwarting its rivals.
The Realme Narzo 50 sports a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The handset features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It has a triple camera unit on the back side.
Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 50 is fueled by a MediaTek Helio G96 chip, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. For connectivity, it offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Type-C port.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme Narzo 50 is equipped with a triple rear camera module, including a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it sports a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. On the front software, it runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box.
For pricing and availability, the Realme Narzo 50 is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 15,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The smartphone is offered in Speed Black and Speed Blue color options. It will be available for purchase from March 3 via Amazon India, Realme.com, and other retail outlets.
