Realme is gearing up to launch its new budget-friendly device, called the Narzo 50, in India on February 24. In the latest development, RM Leaks, in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar, has leaked the pricing and key specifications of the smartphone. It will start at around Rs. 16,000 and will feature a MediaTek Dimensity G96 chipset, a 120Hz display, and a triple rear camera setup.
In India, the Realme Narzo 50 will arrive as the latest addition to the Narzo 50 series of handsets which currently includes the 50i and 50A models. The smartphone will take on the Redmi Note 11S with features like a high refresh rate screen, the latest Android 12 OS support, a 50MP main camera, and a 33W fast-charging technology.
The Realme Narzo 50 will bear a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will sport a left-aligned punch-hole design, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. At the back, the handset will sport a triple camera unit. The handset will be available in Gray and Green color options.
Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 50 will draw power from a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. At the heart, the smartphone will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin. For connectivity options, it should offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the Realme Narzo 50 is tipped to flaunt a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP depth lens. On the front, the smartphone will have a 16MP selfie snapper. The handset will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
The official pricing and availability details of the Realme Narzo 50 will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch on February 24. However, based on the report, it may cost Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant.
